Let Your Light Shine

Two things that are really inspirational to me are music and lights. This video does a great job at combining both of those elements and posing a great gospel lesson while doing so. Watch this video and think about the influence of light in darkness.

When Christ was on the earth He lived a perfect life. That life was set as an example to us. We know this because He repeatedly commands "Come, follow me". Jesus went about serving others and glorifying our Father in Heaven and He has entrusted us with that same charge.
A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (3Nephi 12:14-16, Matt. 5:14-16)

It is now our duty to 'shine' by sharing the beautiful message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ to all of His children. In a world that travels largely in darkness I testify that a light has been revealed. A light that shows us the way out of the tunnel of confusion and uncertainty. We can work toward this light by reading the Book of Mormon and praying about the truthfulness of the principles we find inside. I promise that as you do so with real intent our loving Father in Heaven will answer and that He will show you the way toward greater peace and happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come.
